UP Bhulekh is the digital land records system of Uttar Pradesh. It allows citizens to view Khatauni (Record of Rights), Khasra details and related information online without visiting revenue offices for every query.
Is the online Khatauni a certified copy?
No. The online version is an uncertified informational copy. Certified copies are issued by the Tehsil office after due process and payment of prescribed fees.
How can I search if I only know the owner’s name?
On the official portal select District, Tehsil and Village, then use the “search by name” option. Results will list matching landholders and their holdings in that village.
What is the difference between Khasra and Khatauni?
Khasra (or Gata) identifies an individual plot. Khatauni is the consolidated record of rights showing all plots held by a person or family in a village along with ownership shares.
Where can I see the land map?
Digital maps are available through the Bhu Naksha service. Visit the linked map portal and select the same District–Tehsil–Village hierarchy, then enter the Khasra number.
Is upbhulekh.co the official government website?
No. upbhulekh.co is an independent informational site that explains how to use the official services. The official government portal is upbhulekh.gov.in.
What should I do if the record is not found?
